Hey guys so umm I know I haven't blogged in a while
but I just wanted to give a head up about the situation in the Philippines
They were hit by a tropical storm,
the damage came from the heavy rain
within just 6 hours, the amount of rain surpassed the total amount of an entire month
flooding in urban, suburban, and rural areas
near half of the country is literally underwater, in some cases 11-12 feet high
the worst flooding in 40 years
death tol is estimated to be 150
my sister and cousin goes to college in Manila so I really hope the situation doesn't get worse
and btw for people that kept asking me
Criss Angel is an illusionist not a MAGICIAN!!

Twat?
OH! and you can catch me on Twitter at www.twitter.com/terence671
I update it daily and sometimes hourly
and PLEASE don't trend stupid shit
wtf!
So I've been hearing it from people "what is Twitter?"
which is incroyable! and surprising so thought I'd dedicate this blog to it
If you have never used Twitter, you should (www.twitter.com)
at first people don't really know what to do with it
but after sticking to it, you start getting the idea
conservatively, it's a micro-blogging site
in 140 characters, you answer the question "what are you doing?"
you can use your phone to update your Twitter status
it's evolution from users has interesting
Twitter is anything you want it to be
--get updated with the latest news, before it gets to the press
--find out what people are saying about your company
--and is undoubtedly helpful in emergency situations
--contact a friend instantly
--use it as a quick note keeper
people were saved by constant updates with Twitter during the Oct 2007 Cali wildfires
possibilities are endless, it's a tool and potential weapon
whatever you use it, use it for good
what's next? Twitter replaces 911? Possibly!
so get a Twitter, tell your friends to get a Twitter, and GET TWITTING!
BUT be sure to follow me :-D www.twitter.com/terence671

Be Kind to All Living Things...
Animals are God’s creatures as well.
From our cute domesticated puppies, to the chicken that sits on our plate for dinner.
Even if consuming them is for our very own survival, let us treat them the respect they deserve as living things.
This is a video recorded at a US hatchery factory in Iowa by a hidden camera from an undercover animal rights group.
They will show you the industrialized method of sorting and preparing their products.
THIS VIDEO IS REAL and was on the news to prove its authenticity.
You can check it at: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090902/ap_on_go_ot/us_egg_hatchery_investigation_14
Please think about this the next time you sit at home eating KFC or eggs.
Living a chicken and eggs free diet to protest this type of method is not difficult.
Sure there are other animals that are given cruel industrialized methods for productions,
but I hope these cute helpless chicks could starts you off.
So what does this mean for me?
Well I'm not exactly a vegetarian or vegan,
but I have given up eating chicken, eggs, or any poultry bi-products.

When It Comes
Collins College called today.
They received information that I had interests in their institution.
Yes, I was doing some research and found their website.
Thought it would be a cheaper alternative to Academy of Art University
(as information provided by www.collegeboard.com)
In fact there isn't much of a difference in their tuition cost.
But I like to keep my eyes open for opportunities.
So I was told to browse their website and check out various information I might be interested in,
while I wait for an appointment call next Tuesday.
Collins College is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Now personally I cannot recall ever going to Arizona,
but the name itself brings a feeling of hot and dry weather.
Let God behold! It's the hottest city in the United States! (averaging 90 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Well that's great because I'm moving from Guam
(an already hot climate island)
to Arizona an even HOTTER climate.
Not exactly what I envisioned my college life,
but then again isn't going to college about the education?
Just gonna have to contemplate over that thought before they call.

Typing For Last.
In part of my ever changing decision to start my career, education, and unforeseen future,
I decided to get a job before going to college next year 2010.
Guam's very own Pacific Human Resources called me last Thursday to notify me
of a computer assessment test for this coming Wednesday.
Yet they called me up today asking if I wouldn't mind doing it today instead.
I checked my hell-of-a-busy calendar (sarcasm of coarse) and saw
Yes! I was available.
Heck with it,
I was to make it to their office in Harmon by 1:30pm to take the test
God knows what I expect to see on the "computer assessment test".
Maybe it's an AutoCAD test.
(By then I'll be really screwed, last time I touched the CAD was 2006)
On of their workers gave me that impression at last week's Job Fair
when I turned my resume to her
and filled with excitement when she saw I took AutoCAD as a class.
(I'm not the exactly certified AutoCAD operator)
Then I rode my way up the elevator of ParaOceana Building to the 3rd floor.
I walked passed the Windexed Heavy tinted Glass Walls
printed a nice logo of a two hands reaching over a nice canvas
of a latte stone.
Opened the door and made my way to the sign in sheet.
Wasn't exactly sure where to go
when Ms. Darlene Blas made a nice greeting as she prepares a desk for my testing
On the desk were #2 pencils, a PC, and document clip stand.
The PC was the structure of the classic 90s computer.
It ran Windows NT
and had the IO of an overworked motherboard.
Ms. Blas provided my testing documents
first was the math and English test.
Quite easy but time was nerve wrecking
Then came a set of tests which she made me choose the order in which to take the test
There was the Word document, Excel, typing test, and letter format.
So this is where I made the wise decision to take the typing test first.
I launched Word 2003, which took approximately 15 seconds to open.
5 minutes to type 3 large alpha-numerical paragraphs.
Moving from my nice soft feel of my HP and Apple keyboard to
the 90's commercial built keyboard (which required the energy of skinning a potato to press a key)
isn't the show of my best typing potential.
But working with what I got was all that was in my mind.
